What started the idea of Dostoevsticky?

As a reader, I've always carried this quiet sense of being slightly misplaced in the world like I was built for a different time, a different language, a different silence. The only place that ever felt like home was a library. And the only people who understood me were authors I would never meet, yet somehow knew me better than anyone around me.

With social media, I began seeing other readers who thought and felt the way I did — people posting lines that mirrored my inner world, people who also lived in their books more than in their reality. That's when I realised: there are many wanderers like me, finding home between pages.

What do readers truly want?

All of us have shelves filled with Penguin Classics, all of us are often stuck in our own Kafkaesque minds, and all of us wanna be cool like our very own Camus, guided by our dearest Dostoevsky.

But what we lack is a meaningful way to represent this inner world. Readers want little pieces of their inner world reflected in the outer one.

What does Dostoevsticky offer?

A sense of belonging.

Little meaningful artefacts, stationery that feels like part of a literary universe. Pieces that accompany us in real life as a constant reminder of who we are, where we belong, and what worlds we inhabit. Objects that bring old-library cosiness, earthy moods, rain-soaked nostalgia, quiet desks, flowing ink, and the smell of paper into our everyday routines.

Dostoevsticky helps readers merge both worlds, the one on the page and the one they walk through.

Why the name Dostoevsticky?

The whole idea started with my endless search for Dostoevsky stickers  and I couldn't find any. And so, the name began as a tribute to the one and only. A silly, our-own-kind-of tribute.

A name that only our kind of readers would understand.
